Presentation to explore social and economic behaviours
The Promotion of Place and the Changing Role of Destination Marketing Organisations.
That's the focus of an upcoming event by the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
In conjunction with Business Isle of Man, Director of Marketing Liverpool, Chris Brown, will give the presentation, which covers a number of topics, including an emphasis on the importance of balance between social and economic behaviours, and how social media has changed how places and brands are promoted.
Director of RS Marketing and PR, Richard Slee, says:

‘For many years, the Island has enjoyed close ties with Liverpool and the surrounding city region, so I am looking forward to welcoming Chris Brown to the Isle of Man to speak on this important topic.

‘His presentation promises not only to be of real interest for local marketers. Anyone in the Isle of Man’s business community wanting real insight into how successful cities and regions attract new investment, visitors and talent would benefit from attending'.
The presentation will be held at the iMuseum in Douglas on 28 January, starting at 5:15pm.
