Aviation and insolvency expert promoted
Island law firm DQ Advocates has appointed senior lawyer in its corporate and commercial team Stephen Dougherty as a director.
An aviation law specialist, Mr Dougherty is credited with a large part in the expansion of that sector of DQ's business over the past four years.
He is also an insolvency expert and is advising the liquidator on a highly contentious case currently in the Manx courts.
Stephen Dougherty joined DQ in 2010, having gained experience in the British Virgin Islands, London and Cayman. He continues to offer BVI advice to European time zone clients, from the company's Douglas base.
Mr Dougherty says he's proud of the company's integrated service to local and international clients, and he intends to ensure his specialist sectors continue to grow.
