Appointment to board and as Group CEO
Capital International Group has appointed senior Island executive Greg Ellison to two pivotal roles.
Mr Ellison has joined the board and subject to regulatory approval will also become Group CEO.
The financial services operation group, whose offer includes trading stockbroking, cash management and investment structuring services, is headquartered in the Isle of Man, employing 80 people.
Greg Ellison has previously been managing director of Barclays Wealth in the Island, responsible for 1000 offshore staff and HNW business in three crown dependencies.
He moved to Boston Group Ltd in 2011, where he oversaw the firm's expansion from CSP to a multi-office fiduciary and corporate finance business.
Commenting on the appointment Group chairman Anthony Long, said: "Greg’s experience will be invaluable in helping us to maximise opportunities and to drive forward our international footprint and business development with greater confidence, purpose, in-house experience and expertise."
