Dalrymple Associates' Teresa Kinrade has been awarded full professional membership of the Association for Project Management.
The APM is the largest independent professional body of its kind in Europe, and Mrs Kinrade earned the qualification through a work-based dissertation.
That examined her role as assistant project manager for the new Isle of Man Prison, which took seven years from start to finish.
Mrs Kinrade, who lives in Andreas, is also a member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology and ISO 9001:2000 Quality Manager for Dalrymples.
