'Advanced discussions' with Island based company
Aviation and energy infrastructure group Esken has confirmed it's in advanced discussions to sell its shareholding in Stobart Air to Island based Ettyl Limited.
It's issued a statement which it claims is in relation to 'press speculation'.
The sale would also include the shareholding in Carlisle Airport.
The statement says there can be 'no certainty that an agreement will be reached, or that the transaction will conclude' as it remains subject to final contract matters and approvals.
Esken will make a further announcement when it is 'appropriate' to do so.
