DQ's call to action over employment laws
New laws with 'earth-shattering' implications for Island employers are on their way - and firms should wise-up now.
That view from employment law specialist at DQ Advocates Leanne McKeown, on the introduction of the Equality Act this summer.
The legislation will enhance workers' rights, offering stronger protection from discrimination than has existed so far - it's due to take effect after it receives Royal Assent, expected by July.
