Quinn Legal have held the Isle of Man’s first ever Corporate Classic Mini-Tennis event.

The inaugural ‘Quinn Legal Corporate Classic’ welcomed 16 teams from across the local business network to play doubles mini-tennis games.

The event, which took place on the indoor court at Albany Lawn Tennis Club, was well attended by both participants and supporters.

Businesses in attendance included Fundamentum, Creechurch, SMP Partners, Auxesia, Panacea, Thomas Miller, Optimus, Baker Tilly, Crowe Clark Whitehill, MyZone, First Names Group, Barclays, Hansard, Old Mutual International, Paragon Properties and HSBC.

In the semi-finals, Barclays edged out SMP, and Paragon Properties got the better of Crowe Clark Whitehill. The Paragon Properties pairing won a high-quality final, 15-8, against Barclays who finished runner-up.

HSBC won the plate competition for the teams eliminated at the group phase.

Over £1000 was raised for Project 21, a support group for people with learning disabilities, through entry fees and generous donations.
