An Island bed and breakfast establishment has been named among the friendliest in the UK, in the AA's annual accommodation awards.
Owners of Aaron House in Port St Mary Kath and Reggie Berrie reached the finals after being short listed from more than 2,300 B&Bs inspected by the motoring organisation.
The couple, whose Victorian guest house overlooks Chapel Bay, collected their certificate at a ceremony in London, where awards were announced for guest accommodation in London and across England and in Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
Kathy said the couple felt honoured to reach the finals of the AA's Friendliest Bed and Breakfast Award 2015, adding it was 'humbling' to be nominated.
