Good news for thirsty music fans

Thirsty music lovers at this year’s Manx Telecom Bay Festival will be able to enjoy the drink of their choice thanks to an agreement with Creativebars.

The deal will see Creativebars setting up and running a number of cash-only bars at the Festival.

The company has unrivalled experience in catering for large crowds, having served over 40,000 people at The Big Chill Festival and over 550,000 pints of lager and cider alone during the last festival season.

Following feedback from those who attended the 2010 Manx Telecom Bay Festival, organisers took the decision to dispense with the token system trialled last year as it created too many queues.

Manx Telecom Bay Festival spokesman, Peter Dickson, commented: ‘The Manx Telecom Bay Festival is making big steps this year to address comments made by festival goers in previous years to ensure 2011 is the biggest and best festival ever staged on the Island.

'Having Creativebars set up and run the bars at the festival will ensure minimal queuing time and more time enjoying the great acts on stage.’
