DEFA Minister says decision based on 'consumption trends'
The environment minister says government's plans for glamping pods at South Barrule don't mean it's interfering in a private market.
Proposals have been submitted to build a visitor centre, catering and toilet facilities, to develop the area as a 'destination for outdoor enthusiasts'.
Critics say it's unfair, as there are similar existing businesses in places like Glen Helen and Union Mills.
