Hopes card will encourage more Manx business shopping
The Economic Recovery Group has announced a new incentive to try and encourage people to spend more at Manx-based businesses.
A LoveIOM Gift Card is being launched, which can be spent at any participating local businesses which have physical stores around the Island.
It's due to be rolled out in September during what's known as 'shoulder season' which typically sees a dip in footfall in domestic-facing sectors.
It will primarly be a digital app, but physical gift cards will be able to be bought.
You won't be able to spend the card's credit on alcohol, gambling, betting, or tobacco, though.
