Following the recent upward trend in unemployment in the Isle of Man, Treasury Minister Allan Bell referred to the creation of jobs in his budget speech today.
He said the government's capital programme could help by providing opportunities for work, although in the current economic climate it was a difficult balance to achieve (play extended audio file):
