Green's vegetarian restaurant at the railway station in Douglas has lost its tenancy, after the lease came up for renewal.
The company has held the catering lease at the station for 21 years.
According to Director of Transport Ian Longworth, at the Department Community Culture and Leisure, Green's was beaten in the bidding process 'by a large margin' .
Mr Longworth says the competing bids were compared on a financial and service level basis, and the decision not to renew the contract to Green's is purely commercial:
