Have your say on financial services regulation

Treasury invite people to apply to serve on FSA board

There's a chance to have your say on how the Island's financial services are regulated.

Locals are being invited by the the Treasury to serve on the board of the Financial Services Authority (FSA).

It comes into effect in November following a merger of the Financial Supervision Commission and the Pensions Authority.

People who feel they're qualified could have experience across a range of sectors including banking, insurance, investment and trust and corporate services.

Treasury Minister Eddie Teare says they're looking for "high-calibre board members to lead the further development of the Island's regulatory framework."

You can get an application form from the government website at gov.im/categories/working-in-the-isle-of-man/public-appointments.

Alternatively contact Gavin Leggate on 685584.
