Staff from the Sefton Group have hit the beach as part of the Big Tidy Up, an annual attempt to clear towns and countryside of litter.
More than 30 Sefton Group staff collected a van-load of litter from Douglas beach, as part of the project organised by Keep Britain Tidy.
Sefton Group Director David Woodiwiss confirmed the company is keen to get involved again and do its bit to keep Douglas beach and its promenades clean, as a focal point of the town.
He said the beach clean gave the company an opportunity to give something back to the community, and also worked as a great team building exercise for staff.
