A move to ease staffing shortages in the Manx hospitality sector has been welcomed by an experienced hotelier.
Last week, a temporary work permit exemption was introduced.
A union head later claimed it could lead to lower wages.
However, Michael George, who runs the Welbeck Hotel in Douglas, says those comments are ill-informed and the move will help small hoteliers.
