A Ramsey-based building contractor has been appointed to project-manage a £1.3 million scheme to upgrade commissioners' houses in the town.
Dalrymple Associates will spearhead the project to modernise 18 homes in Brookhill Road and Seamount Road, which were built in the 1950s.
The upgrade will include installing central heating, replacing bathrooms and kitchens, re-roofing, re-wiring and insulation.
Other successful tenders for the work were won by quantity surveryors Magee and Co and planning supervisors Holmes Grace.
Work is due to begin in July, with completitin due mid-March next year.
