Bank helping during coronavirus pandemic
HSBC is helping to keep Manx families and residents well fed during the coronavirus pandemic.
The Island branch will be donating money to the Isle of Man Foodbank, to provide hundreds of food parcels.
Last month the bank made a global fund available to support the international medical response to the spread of Covid-19, and protect vulnerable people – ensuring food security worldwide.
This has formed part of the Isle of Man charitable donation, with additional funding from HSBC on the Island.
Head of Sustainability, HSBC Channel Islands and Isle of Man Chantal Le Goff has thanked the IoM Foodbank for its work, saying "we hope this donation will offer some relief for islanders."
Neal Mellon, CEO of the Isle of Man Foodbank says the charity is "thrilled and relieved" to receive this donation.
