High street bank HSBC is increasing its efforts to fight money laundering in the Island.
The firm is seeking a new Head of Anti-Money Laundering for the Isle of Man and Channel Islands, with the role based between here and Jersey.
It comes weeks after European MONEYVAL assessors criticised the Island's efforts to combat financial crime, and an apparent low rate of convictions for related offences.
HSBC says the ideal candidate will be highly experienced in AML/CFT regulations, and the Island's corporate trust system.
