Tool and equipment hire company confirms loss of four jobs
Tool and equipment hire company HSS Hire has confirmed it's to close its Douglas outlet in the Middle River Industrial Estate with the loss of four jobs.
The company, which operates over 100 branches throughout the UK, is undergoing a major re-organisation, which will result in around twelve job losses nationwide.
Looking longer term a spokesperson told Manx Radio the business wants to expand its stores portfolio in the UK from 104 to around 150.
It's understood the other jobs to go as a result of the restructuring process are in the Isle of Wight and Scotland.
