Tynwald will welcome its first guest from the banking industry this week.
Icelandic Kaupthing Bank Executive Chairman Sigurdur Einarsson has been invited to the open air ceremony at St John's.
He will meet meet Treasury Minister Allan Bell, Chief Financial Officer Mark Shimmin and Financial Supervision Commission chief executive John Aspden.
Mr Einarsson will also attend the Tynwald Garden Party, as well as touring the Old House of Keys in Castletown, Niarbyl and the House of Manannan before meeting the Lieutenant Governor, Vice Admiral Sir Paul Haddacks, KCB, and Lady Haddacks.
Kaupthing bought the Singer & Friedlander Group in 2005 and its Isle of Man subsidiary, Kaupthing Singer & Friedlander, is based at Samuel Harris House in Douglas.
