Cyber crime the topic for inaugural event
Local businesses are being offered a crash course in cyber-security, as the Island's first ever Technology Summit powers up at the Villa Marina this afternoon.
The event has been organised by networking company Wi-Manx.
Expert seminars and product demonstrations will bring companies up to speed with contemporary threats such as data loss, hacking and espionage from both outside and within their organisations - and learn how to deal with them pro-actively.
Today's event is billed as a unique showcase to introduce new technologies to Island businesses.
