The Isle of Man's inflation rate in October stood at 4.4 per cent.
That's down slightly from the previous month when it hit five percent.
Despite the headline number dropping figures from the Cabinet Office show that household bills for gas, electricity and water continued their upward spiral.
Other fuels including oil, petrol and diesel also rose sharply.
Air travel was the biggest riser in October - up by just under 50 per cent.
