Inflation rises slightly, but CPI still negative

Inflation in the Isle of Man rose slightly last month.

As measured by the Consumer Prices Index it's still in negative territory, going from -1% to -0.5%.

According to the Retail Prices Index it changed from 1.4% to 1.9%.

One of the factors in the increase is the rise in the cost of heating oil, petrol and diesel.
