An ipad app has been launched which will allow expats to manage their overseas accounts, including those in the Isle of Man.
NatWest International personal banking has made the free technology, called “ibanking,” available to international and local clients with accounts in the Island, Channel Islands or Gibraltar.
Once registered for the service, customers will have a single view, via a single log in, of both currency and sterling accounts. They will also be able to check balances, view recent transactions and search historic transactions.
Nat West says the app can only be accessed from the user’s iPad using their individual pass code and only one person can register per app. The bank also claims security will be regularly tested and updated to ensure the app maintains a banking grade level of security.
