Accountants saluted as top employer
An Island-based accountancy firm's parent company has been named employer of the year by the International Accounting Bulletin or IAB.
Grant Thornton International received the award in London for the third time in the last four years.
Managing Director of Grant Thronton's Isle of Man subsidiary Dennis McGurgan says the company is proud to be part of a worldwide network, which is recognised in the market for its particular focus in the last few years on its employees at member firm and global level.
At the awards, the IAB also recognised Grant Thornton’s Women in Business report with the Thought Leadership Initiative of the Year award and global CEO, Ed Nusbaum, won the Lifetime Achievement award.
