
The Island's Post Office will issue a set of commemorative stamps next month to mark the sixtieth anniversary of the Queen's coronation.
Member of the legislative council, Alex Downie OBE, has collected coronation items for over forty years and his memorabilia features in the artwork on the new stamps.
There will be six diamond anniversary stamps to celebrate the occasion which will be available to purchase from the 6th February.
