The faces of Liverpool and the Wirral could be changed by multi-billion pound schemes headed up by two Isle of Man residents.
John Whittaker and Albert Gubay are both involved in plans including the 20-year, £6 billion Liverpool Waters development.
Development director in Liverpool Mike Cavanagh and leader of the City Council Joe Anderson are optimistic the schemes will go ahead, despite the current economic climate:
