Manx charities to be supported through resource
Island telecoms company Sure has launched a community foundation to support local charities during the coronavirus pandemic.
It's being funded by a combination of staff and business donations, and Sure's employees are managing all of the fundraising activities.
Since the start of the Covid-19 outbreak Sure has invested £20,000 into the foundation and says it will match any contributions made by staff or other fundraising.
So far the resource has donated £500 to the Isle of Man Foodbank and hopes to support a number of different charities.
