Lisa Morris to work in Island's primary schools
Junior Achievement Isle of Man has appointed Lisa Morris primary programme manager.
Lisa will be working in all the island’s primary schools delivering, with volunteer support, the Junior Achievement ‘Our World’ programme to year 6 children.
Originally from Yorkshire, Lisa has lived on the island for 17 years and comes from an accountancy and financial background.
Lisa says "Our World" teaches teamwork and communication skills and prepares children for the transition from primary to secondary school.
She adds that what’s so valuable about the work Junior Achievement is doing in schools is that it goes beyond the academic, preparing young people for the world of work.’
