End of lease and economic climate behind decision
An Onchan retailer has announced it will close next month.
Joan's Wools and Crafts says its lease is coming to an end, and given the economic climate it will be shutting down the shop.
In a post on social media, the business praised its "wonderful" customers, saying they've made it a lovely shop to work in.
The shop, which sells knitting, crafting and sewing supplies, has been open since the 1970s.
