Insurance companies pledge tens of thousands to Manx Solidarity Fund
Large companies have a duty to support the Manx community during the coronavirus crisis.
That's from the chairman of the Manx Insurance Association, after life assurance firms on the Island pledged tens of thousands of pounds to the charity.
The fund was set up last month to provide assistance to those in need, including those who aren't eligible for government support.
