Manx menus offer chef fresh challenge

From Gordon Ramsey to new pastures at Green's

After gracing the kitchens of celebrity Michelin star chieftains of the gourmet world Gordon Ramsey and Michel Roux, a chef will get inventive with Manx produce at the new Green's restaurant in St John's.

The former café is expanding its offering, branching out into evening meals created by chef Richard Johnson. 

The re-styled venue opens on Thursday night (1 Dec). 

Richard says owners Nigel and Nicky Kermode have given him "a great canvas" - an opportunity to do something special with seasonal ingredients.

Initially, the restaurant will offer a range of five starters, main courses and desserts - with an amuse bouche, sorbets, home-made breads and terrines.

First, the basics need to arrive ahead of the opening.
