Food and drink exhibitors wanted for popular shows
Local producers are wanted to get involved with three big Island events this summer.
The Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture hopes to showcase lots of Manx food and drink exhibitors.
It's for the Southern Agricultural Show, the Royal Manx Agricultural Show and the Isle of Man Food and Drink Festival.
Government says safety of contributors and visitors will be paramount, and 'organisers will put appropriate measures in place if necessary'.
The dates for each event are as follows:
• The Southern Agricultural Show - 31 July and 1 August at Orrisdale Farm, Ballasalla
• The Royal Manx Agricultural Show - 13 and 14 August at Knockaloe, Patrick
• Isle of Man Food & Drink Festival - 18 and 19 September at the Villa Marina Gardens
Local producers can apply for one or more by downloading application forms from gov.im/manxfood (shows) and gov.im/food (festival), calling 687520 or by emailing lucy.verdon@gov.im. The deadline for applications is 7 May.
