Long-serving Post Office CEO to retire

Interim appointment covers Kelly's loss

The chief executive at Isle of Man Post Office Mike Kelly is to step down early next year.

Mr Kelly, who was appointed to the role in 2010, will retire at the end of February 2017, after almost 43 years of service.

The Post Office board says a new CEO will be recruited 'in due course', and in the interim, Commercial and Operations Director Lisa Duckworth will take the helm.

She will commence the position at the start of January 2017.

Post office Chairman Ray Harmer MHK has promised further details soon on the structure of the business while a new CEO is recruited.
