M&S not announcing job cuts by store

Not yet known whether 7,000 job losses will impact Douglas branch

It's not yet known whether any of the 7,000 job cuts at Marks & Spencer will affect its store on the Isle of Man.

The retailer announced plans to reduce the size of its workforce earlier today.

In response to a query from Manx Radio, the company said it's not yet announcing changes by store or region.

Roles will be lost from stores, regional management and support centres.
