One of the stars of a high profile film shot in the Isle of Man has been nominated for a major award.
British actor Christian McKay has had his name put forward in the Supporting Actor category in this year's BAFTAs, for his performance in Me and Orson Welles.
McKay acted in the title role in the movie, much of which was shot at the Gaiety Theatre in Douglas in March 2008.
His portrayal of Orson Welles was praised by critics as being uncannily accurate.
McKay was back at the Gaiety Theatre in November last year, along with co-stars Zac Efron and Claire Danes and director Richard Linklater, for the Isle of Man premiere of the film.
The winners of the 2010 BAFTAs will be announced on February 21.
