The Manx firm, GE Aviation, has been rewarded for its efforts in reducing greenhouse gases.
It's the GE eCO2 Star award for Green House Gas (GHG) reduction.
The award and certification recognises those sites that achieve at least a five per cent GHG reduction.
General manager Chris Allen says their employees 'are honored to receive this certification.
'Our employees are motivated to continue to have a positive effect on the environment.'
The Isle of Man is one of only five GE Aviation sites globally to receive the award and the only Aviation Systems site.
GE Aviation is an operating unit of General Electric Company, the world-leading provider of jet engines and components, as well as integrated systems for commercial and military aircraft.
