MT offshoot buys telecoms tech firm

Move sees Vannin Ventures expand

Manx Telecom subsidiary Vannin Ventures has made its first acquisition, taking control of Island technology firm Partitionware.

Vannin Ventures, set up to identify new opportunities in the telecoms market, says the move will help it build a business which can offer innovative new products and services to the Isle of Man.

Director Tom Meageen said the two companies' combined technical and commercial capability will "leverage" growth for both.

Partitionware styles itself a telecoms solutions specialist.

Its CEO Mike Bromwich added: "Pooling our expertise ensures we are exceptionally well placed to continue growing and innovating in the market, [to benefit] the Isle of Man as a whole."
