
Manx Telecom says it will soon be possible to watch digital TV using its broadband network.
The company says after spending £50 million on its new network over the last four years, it will be able to start offering video and films on demand from 2009.
Once set up, the service would be able to compete with satellite services such as Sky.
Manx Telecom’s marketing director Andy Bridson made the announcement on Manx Radio’s Talking Heads programme earlier today (audio file attached):
