Charity benefits from donation
Staff at Nedgroup Investments who were asked to choose a local good cause to receive a donation, have selected the charity Housing Matters which helps the homeless and those with housing problems.
Managing Director Andrew Lodge says the company wanted to make a donation to a worthy cause which reflected the wishes of the staff.
He adds that Housing Matters was suggested and everyone liked the idea.
Nedgroup Investments, based in Samuel Harris House, Douglas, handed over a cheque for £1,000 to Jon Morley, director of Housing Matters, at the company’s offices.
Housing Matters gives advice, guidance and support around housing matters to people living on the Isle of Man, with the chief aim of relieving hardship and distress amongst homeless people and those living in poor housing conditions.
