Gander now works in Shoprite around Island
A new app hoping to tackle global food waste is now available on the Isle of Man.
The United Nations Food and Agriculture Organisation says roughly 1.3 billion tonnes of food is wasted every year.
The Gander app's already active in the UK and Ireland where developers claim it's saved more than 14,000 tonnes of Carbon Dioxide by preventing waste food ending up on landfill sites.
You can use the app in Shoprite stores around the Island.
