New appointments at Thomas Miller

Thomas Miller Investment (Isle of Man) Limited has announced two appointments to its Private Wealth Division.

Andrew Buchanan has been appointed as Head of Private Wealth and Rita Kazinika has been appointed as Assistant Portfolio Manager.

Andrew joins the team from Kleinwort Benson Channel Islands where he was Director - Investments, responsible for the Close Offshore Group discretionary investment management business.

He returns to the Isle of Man having previously moved here from Jersey with his family in 2001.

He has over 30 years experience in the Investment Industry which has included senior positions at Close Brothers, RBS Coutts and Royal Bank of Canada whilst working in Toronto, Hong Kong, London and Jersey.

Andrew has specialised in portfolio construction for internationally focused clients and he will play a vital role in developing TMI-IOM’s expanding client base.

Rita has been promoted from the Operations Division of TMI-IOM to provide support to the Portfolio Management Team and contribute to the Investment Research process and client service delivery.

She holds the International Certificate in Wealth Management from the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment (CISI), the Certificate in Offshore Finance and Administration from the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators and is continuing her studies through additional CISI qualifications.
