Manx Telecom has appointed senior businessman Gary Lamb as its new finance director.
Mr Lamb has a strong track record in senior roles at some of the Isle of Man's most innovative companies.
He became a founder director of Bladon Jets Ltd in 2007 and remains a non executive director there. The firm won widespread acclaim for its partnership with Jaguar Land Rover, and the use of its jet engines in the Jaguar C-X75 supercar.
Before Bladon, Mr Lamb was group finance and IT director at Strix Ltd, the Isle of Man-based manufacturer of thermostatic controls for electric kettles.
He takes over the finance chief's role at Manx Telecom from Mike Dee, who is now in the top job as MT's managing director.
