Specialist funds services firm Abacus has appointed a new managing director to its fiduciary arm.
Stewart Fleming is to head up the Abacus Trust Company Ltd in the Island, where he'll be responsible for strategic management and business development.
The role will involve regular travel to the UK and further afield promoting Abucus' services and meeting clients.
Mr Fleming has 30 years taxation experience specialising in offshore trusts and companies, and was a director when the company was part of Coopers and Lybrand in the Isle of Man.
