Ramsey's only nightclub is to live another day!
'Nightlife' first opened around 20 years ago but was closed last August. Since then there have been numerous calls for it to reopen, and there is even a Facebook page called 'R.I.P Nightlife', which has 498 members!
Director of retail for Heron and Brearley Steven Taylor says the decision to close Nightlife was a difficult one for his predecessor and reflected a number of circumstances at the time.
But he is delighted the company is now in a position to open the venue again.
He says it sends out a clear message that Ramsey is a viable alternative to Douglas for a great night out, at a time when the town's regeneration plans are starting to take shape.
The club has had what's described as 'a light refurbishment' during it's closure.
It will reopen on Friday, June 3.
