The newly refurbished Palace Cinema opens its doors to the public today (Monday).
Both auditoriums have had new 'comfort-seats' and flooring installed.
The total number of seats has been reduced to provide more space per customer, and the new Palace Cinema website is going live to coincide with the reopening.
Sefton Group director of hotels and leisure Adrian Brockhouse says the refurbishment follows considerable investment in cinema equipment last year, when new digital projectors were installed, offering an improved viewing experience and the ability to show 3D films.
