Conister Trust Ltd has announced the appointment of Simon Hull as managing director.
Mr Hull joins Conister Trust from Alliance & Leicester International where he held the position of managing director for nine years.
Unusually, Mr Hull trained as an engineer before turning to banking.
He is a chartered director and was recently part of the Isle of Man Government’s banking review group.
Now a Laxey resident, having previously lived in Douglas and Port Erin, he is married to Christine, who is currently studying for a business management degree at the Isle of Man Business School.
Of his new appointment, Mr Hull said: ‘I am very much looking forward to being part of the Island’s only independently publicly owned bank with its long-held commitment to its clients and the local community.’
