Manx Telecom has launched a new mobile phone tariff which, it says, can save seven and a half kilograms of CO2 per person.
'Simple' is a SIM only tariff, which means you keep your old phone and MT number with no long-term contract.
Graham Shimmin, Manx Telecom’s mobile product manager says customers get the benefits of a contract tariff but without the new phone, and hanging on to your existing handset saves CO2 emissions.
The tariff costs between £15 and £40 per month and includes text messages, talk time and data.
