Charity collection tops £10,000 in year
Isle of Man-based international eGaming company Newfield has donated more than £10,000 to the Hyperbaric Chamber.
The facility was the company's charity of the year last year.
A total of £10,261 was collected, with funds raised by staff being supplemented by the company.
The cash was raised at events including Newfield’s Christmas party, a golf day for staff and guests and by an employee team which was sponsored to take on the gruelling Toughmann Challenge.
The donation will help the Hyperbaric Chamber continue its work - using hyperbaric oxygen therapy to treat conditions like decompression sickness, and helping people recover from injury.
